A technical body under the authority of the Ministry of Transport, The National Ports Authority (APN) is responsible for implementing port policy as defined by the Government. It is a public administrative and technical body with departments capable of providing expertise on strategic issues relating to the competitiveness and development of port facilities. Endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy, the APN is created by law. n° 98/021 of 24th December 1998 and its implementing decree n° 2019/172 of 05th of April 2019
